The Republican red wave from Tuesday\u2019s victories across the nation has inflamed Democrat infighting over President Joe Biden\u2019s radical legislative agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The victory that resulted from high turnout<\/a> among rural voters and Hispanics, along with parents frustrated<\/a> over Critical Race Theory (CRT) and those who oppose<\/a> defunding the police, directly contradicts the far-left\u2019s policies and narrative of identity politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Voters\u2019 rejection of far-left policies has Democrats pointing fingers at each other over who is at fault for the loss. The \u201cmoderates\u201d claim radical policies are responsible for the drubbing, while the far-left claims the thrashing was Biden\u2019s fault for not passing his radical reconciliation agenda through Congress quickly enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Monday morning, an unnamed Democrat congressman from New Jersey told<\/a> Politico Playbook Biden failed to pass any accomplishments, which hurt the base\u2019s enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFucking disaster down ballot and way too close at the top. Not enough excitement at top of NJ ticket \u2014 Biden, Covid, etc. No accomplishments. Should have passed infrastructure a month ago,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In contrast, a far-left House aide also told Playbook the defeat on Tuesday should not be blamed on progressives. \u201cIt\u2019s absurd to blame progressives for Virginia,\u201d the person said, citing that the race was lost because the election was not about \u201cfederal issues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIf you want to fault D.C., fault the tiny group of conservative Dems who intentionally blocked childcare, prescription drug reform, universal pre-k, and paid leave all fall,\u201d the far-left aide blamed \u201cmoderate\u201d Democrats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Democrat strategist Sean Clegg told<\/a> the Los Angeles Times<\/em> the outcome in Virginia pressurizes Biden\u2019s far-left agenda, exacerbating Democrat infighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c[The Virginia election] is clearly a reflection of a dynamic that\u2019s going on right now in the party and with the president, and we need to correct it if we want to have any success,\u201d Clegg said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy Cecil, chairman of the Democrat group Priorities USA, took no heed of the defeat and told<\/a> CNN Democrats must react to the loss by continuing to push the radical policies of the Biden-Harris agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe must begin tomorrow to consolidate and mobilize those who turned out to vote Democratic in 2020,\u201d Cecil said. \u201cAnd we must draw a sharp contrast between Democratic progress and Republican extremism.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n After Tuesday\u2019s defeat, Heather Caygle, Politico\u2019s<\/em> co-Congressional Bureau Chief, tweeted<\/a> she was already receiving messages from congressional Democrats blaming the far-left for the political upset.
