Cases like a woman\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/watch-two-police-officers-run-over-by-suv-in-buffalo-amid-riots\">running over police officers<\/a>\u00a0with her SUV are prioritized in their importance for legal accountability. Very few have gone all the way through court proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to cases that actually see proper justice, the outlet mentions a few standouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Courtland M. Renford<\/strong>: Recently sentenced to five years in prison for throwing a fiery laundry basket&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/buffalonews.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/defense-attorney-says-resolution-close-in-city-hall-arson-charges\/article_95d3fd6a-ebb9-11eb-bd5b-335fc3331a1a.html\">through a City Hall<\/a>&nbsp;window, amid other assorted looting on May 30th 2020. He already&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/buffalonews.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/buffalo-man-pleads-guilty-to-federal-rioting-charge-for-setting-city-hall-fire\/article_99b6e052-2b4f-11ec-8b57-67914d62842b.html\">pleaded<\/a>&nbsp;guilty to federal rioting charges and faces another round of arson and burglary charges next month. Reports say he tried to change his appearance after the fact.<\/li><li><strong>Daniel D. Hill<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wivb.com\/news\/kenmore-man-charged-with-looting-elmwood-avenue-liquor-store-throwing-bottles-at-police\/?fbclid=IwAR0N13acDr5V8gWnjJyyD26akvcki0RNjiqnAiJT-yJROOArdrstWAmJI1A\">Looted<\/a>&nbsp;a liquor store during the May 2020 riot season but managed to get into a &#8220;nonviolent felony offender&#8221; program for pleading guilty to a felony. If Hill completes the program without any hassle, he can withdraw his felony guilty plea, and take it down to a misdemeanor. More about the &#8220;U-CAN ERIE&#8221; program is available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wgrz.com\/article\/news\/crime\/kenmore-man-pleads-guilty-to-looting-city-of-buffalo-liquor-store\/71-da1a0d63-9ad5-4f6e-8581-944b3c92e142\">here<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>Deyanna Davis<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wivb.com\/news\/local-news\/buffalo\/judge-upholds-decision-that-woman-accused-of-driving-through-police-during-protest-should-be-released\/\">Accused<\/a>&nbsp;of driving her SUV into three police officers during riots on June 1st 2020. Faces&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/6XIEv\">charges<\/a>&nbsp;of first-degree assault, had state charges of attempted murder, assault, and aggrivated assault, and the other passengers in the car face a litnany of weapons charges.<\/li><li><strong>Joanna Gollnau<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkbw.com\/news\/local-news\/buffalo-woman-pleads-guilty-to-traffic-violation-after-hitting-bicyclist-in-niagara-square\">Pleaded<\/a>&nbsp;guilty to a traffic violation after hitting a bicyclist in September 2020 during protests outside City Hall. Ended up having to pay $200.<\/li><li><strong>Keyondre Robinson<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-wdny\/pr\/buffalo-man-pleads-guilty-assaulting-federal-officer-during-may-civil-unrest-buffalo\">Pleaded<\/a>&nbsp;guilty to assaulting a federal officer during the May 2020 riots. He faces a year of supervised release for throwing a water bottle at one of them, during protests outside the Robert H. Jackson Federal Courthouse.]<\/li><li><strong>Michael Cremen<\/strong>: Faces a hate crime charge for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/subscribe.buffalonews.com\/e\/limit-reached-bn?returnURL=https:\/\/buffalonews.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/attorney-man-charged-with-hertel-ave-hate-crime-protected-by-first-amendment\/article_10ab1d7e-db35-11eb-aa40-7bf4822ebf00.html\">shouting<\/a>&nbsp;a racial slur at a group of Black Lives Matter protesters in August 2020. But he has since moved away to Arkansas, and had to switch lawyers. But Cremen is showing up to his court appearances. &#8220;Cremen was indicted on charges of second-degree menacing as a hate crime, as well as second-degree harassment.&#8221;<\/li><li><strong>Samuel Mara<\/strong>: a BLM protester who&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-wdny\/pr\/buffalo-man-arrested-charged-threatening-kill-individual-social-media\">threatened<\/a>&nbsp;to assassinate the Mayor in June 2020 got&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/buffalonews.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/expert-calls-blm-protester-who-threatened-mayor-legally-insane-prosecutors-want-second-opinion\/article_dd7169c4-1192-11ec-b7b6-a7d02c50c8e4.html\">declared<\/a>&nbsp;legally insane.
