{"id":35559,"date":"2022-05-31T09:57:48","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T16:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cww7news.com\/?p=35559"},"modified":"2022-05-31T09:57:49","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T16:57:49","slug":"israel-signs-historic-free-trade-agreement-with-uae","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cww7news.com\/israel-signs-historic-free-trade-agreement-with-uae\/","title":{"rendered":"Israel Signs Historic Free Trade Agreement with UAE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Israel signed a \u201cgroundbreaking\u201d free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, its first with an Arab country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal comes as trade between the two countries has reached a staggering $2.5 billion in only twenty months since the Trump administration brokered the so-called Abraham Accords normalizing ties between Israel and several Arab states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBusinesses in both countries will benefit from faster access to markets and lower tariffs as our nations work together to increase trade, create jobs, promote new skills and deepen cooperation,\u201d Emirati envoy to Israel, Mohamed Al Khaja, tweeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry Orna Barbivai, who was in Dubai Tuesday to sign the agreement with his Emirati counterpart, Abdulla bin Touq Al-Marri, said it was a deal of \u201chistoric importance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTogether we will remove barriers and promote comprehensive trade and new technologies, which will form a solid base for our joint path, will benefit citizens, and make it easier to do business.
