It is also the 24th <1LD asteroid in the month of October, setting a new monthly record.

2022 UU63 was first observed at Mt. Lemon Survey, Arizona on October 28, one day after it made its close approach to our planet.

The object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 1.7 and 3.8 m (5.6 – 12.5 feet).
